How well do you know the Highway Code? It has been updated and means vehicles must give 1.5m (4ft 11in) space when overtaking cyclists, and 2m for horses. Drivers and other road users must also give way to pedestrians crossing at road junctions. They’re some examples of the recent changes that came in and it seems many of us haven’t read up on them. According to motoring group AA, a survey of 13,327 members suggested 8,090 (61%) drivers had not read January’s updates, and of those 1,118 were unaware of them. Read more here.
